In Phnom Penh, the Livelihood Enhancement and Association of the Poor Project (LEAP) will provide skill training to 750 poorest people in 13 sangats (communes).
The project aims to improve access of poor and vulnerable households in selected communities to financial services, opportunities for generating income, and small-scale infrastructure, and to provide response in case of an eligible crisis or emergency.
The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved financing of $20.17 million for the Livelihood Enhancement and Association of the Poor Project (LEAP).
