THE OBJECTIVES ARE: (A) TO REDUCE THE POLLUTION LOAD DISCHARGED INTO INLAND WATERWAYS AND IN MANILA BAY; (B) TO IMPROVE THE ENV. CONDITIONS IN METRO MANILA; (C) TO REDUCE HEALTH HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH HUMAN EXPOSURE TO UNTREATED WASTEWATER; AND (D) TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE & COORDINATION AMONG INSTITUTIONS INVOLVED IN THE SECTOR.
