Development Objective

HELP ADDRESS PRIORITY POLLUTION PROBLEMS BY DEMONSTRATING INTEGRATED POLLUTION MANAGEMENT THROUGH THREE PILOT PROJECTS IN URBAN/INDUSTRIAL CONTAMINATION, SOLID WASTES AND AIR POLLUTION. THE PILOTS WILL FINANCE TECH.ASST. TO PROMOTE ENV.MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND PUBLIC-PRIVATE COMPLIANCE AGREEMENTS, REGULATORY & INST.STRENGTHENING, & PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROGRAMS,AS WELL AS INITIAL INVESTMENTS.
