Development Objective

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE TO (I) APPLY, ON A PILOT BASIS,METHODOLOGIES THAT WOULD CHANNEL FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO RURAL COMMUNI-TIES TO ASSIST THEM IN PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTIVE SYSTEMS, ANDTHEREBY REDUCE RURAL POVERTY, THE DEGRADATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES ANDMIGRATION; AND (II) PROMOTE THE SUSTAINABLE USE AND CONSERVATION OFSELECTED PRIORITY BIODIVERSITY AREAS.
