THE PROJECT PROVIDES SHORT-TERM WORKING CAPITAL AND MEDIUM-TERM INVESTMENT FINANCING FOR PRIVATE SECTOR FIRMS. UPGRADED PFI ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND GRANT-FINANCED CREDIT ADVISORY SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE APEX UNIT IN THE NBM AND TO QUALIFIED PFIs ARE EXPECTED TO CONTRIBUTE TO IMPROVED QUALITY OF BANK INTERMEDIATION.
