KUZURYU POWER

Abstract*

The project consists of two hydroelectric stations, namely a 220-MW pumped storage station with the associated 128 meter rockfill dam and a reservoir at Nagano, and a 54 MW conventional-type hydro station at Yugami. It is a part of an overall development plan for the Kuzuryu river to be jointly carried out by EPDC and the Hokuriku Electric Power Company which will build a third power station downstream.
