Abstract*

The Tokke Hydroelectric Project consists of the construction of dams, and tunnels in the upper reaches of the Tokke and Vinje rivers in Norway, to create reservoirs and divert hydropower to an underground power plant, where 100,000 KW high head turbines will be installed. The energy generated will be fed into the Southeastern grid over a high voltage transmission system; two new sub-stations will be installed, and, an existing substation will be expanded...
