Development Objective
THE PROJECT'S MAIN DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES ARE TO INITIATE COMMUNITY-BASED LAND REFORM APPROACHES AND TO BUILD INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY TOLAUNCH AN INCEPTION PHASE OF THE GOVERNMENT LAND REFORM PROGRAM. THEPROJECT WILL HAVE THREE COMPONENTS: (1) LAND ACQUISITION FUND (GOVTFINANCED); (2) FUNDING OF COMMUNITY INVESTMENT SUBPROJECTS; AND(3) TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, INSTITUTIONAL STRENGTHENING, PROJECT ADMI-NISTRATION AND MONITORING AND EVALUATION.
