Development Objective

The projects development objectives are: (i) to ensure biodiversity conservation by increasing the involvement of civil society institutions and the private sector in the planning and sustainable management of five protected areas (PAs) of the Peruvian System of Natural Protected Areas (SINANPE); (ii) creation of one PA during project implementation; and (iii) to obtain financial sustainability for the financing of recurrent costs in SINANPE (National System of Protected Areas).The global objective of the project is to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity of global importance in Peru.
