Abstract*

The Multi-Sectoral AIDS Project (MAP) for Guinea is part of the Multi-Country HIV/AIDS Program for the Africa Region (report no. 20727). In accordance with the main goal of MAP2, the overall objective of the project is to limit and reverse the trend of the epidemic by preventing new infections. There are four main components. New PDOs have been approved by the Board on June 29, 2007, and are as follows: - Increase HIV/AIDS knowledge and low risks behaviors; and - Improve the coverage and the use of HIV/AIDS prevention, care treatment and support services.
