DZ-ICT Development Support Project
Development Objective
The objective of the project is to create an enabling environment to: (a) improve access to efficient and affordable information and communications technology (ICT) services; (b) facilitate private sector growth in ICT; (c) improve the competitiveness of national firms; and (d) enhance the efficiency of government service delivery. To accomplish this, the project will support the government's program to: (a) strengthen the ICT policy and regulatory framework; (b) leverage ICT to promote business and government competitiveness; (c) support 'net-enterprise' development; and (d) strengthen communications strategy and capacity building.
