Development Objective
The overall development objective of the project is to improve mobility on selected main corridors of center city Taiyuan, for people and freight in a safe and efficient manner.
To this end, the project will monitor the following on selected main corridors: (i) travel times for road users; (ii) quality and use of public transport services; and (iii) road fatality rates. The project will also strengthen capacity for project implementation, traffic management and public transport.
