Development Objective

To develop and promote new models of conservation at the landscape scale1 through enhanced capacity and institution building for mainstreaming biodiversity conservation outcomes. Achieving this objective would involve the demonstration and scaling up of landscape conservation approaches. This would specifically involve tools and techniques improvements, and knowledge and capacity building tosupport multi-stakeholder partnerships to mainstream biodiversity conservation. It would also involve improving rural livelihoods, enhancing learning, and replicating successful participatory conservation models at the landscape scale.
