Zimbabwe: Strengthening the Education Management Information System
Development Objective
The overall objective is to update education management information system (EMIS) and to build the MOESAC's capacity to process and convert the raw data into information for informed planning, policy making, sector management, monitoring and evaluation at all levels of the system.The output will be a trained cadre of education officials capable of collecting, inputting, cleaning and analyzing data; appropriate data collection formats; and strategic reports which can be used as key inputs to the education budget and planning process.The outcome will be better informed policy making and planning for school level (through senior secondary school) education and a more equitable distribution of resources.
