This project envisages to strengthen the institutional capacity of the PRSP unit to deliver the above-listed functions:' Consultation with authorities and civil society in the DRC provinces to ensure that the national PRSP objectives are well understood and supported at the level of the provinces.' Capacity to identify monitoring and evaluation indicators and assess their evaluation over time.' Analysis of the household survey data that are being collected by the National Institute for Statistics.' Archiving of documents in a systematic way, while using the existing capacity at the INS to archive data.' Support the updating of macroeconomic developments in the DRC provinces during a single year during which the INS is not yet in a position to update these developments independently as would have been the INS' natural role.
