The proposed Project development objective is to improve the delivery of legal aid and promote the legal empowerment of beneficiaries in selected provinces in the Northern Mountain Region.

Development Objective
The proposed Project development objective is to improve the delivery of legal aid and promote the legal empowerment of beneficiaries in selected provinces in the Northern Mountain Region.
The Project is expected to have about 9,800 beneficiaries (of which 3,920 female). The beneficiaries will include direct beneficiaries are expected to be about 5,500 (of which 2,200 female) eligible legal aid beneficiaries receiving legal aid services, 800 community/village leaders (of which 40% female) receiving training, and 3,500 (of which 40% female) eligible legal aid beneficiaries, legal aid providers and other officials receiving training.
