South Sudan COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Project

Abstract*

The proposed project comes to support preparedness for and deployment of vaccines in South Sudan as well as essential health service delivery in the states of Upper Nile and Jonglei States as well as hard-to-reach areas of South Sudan, while developing Government capacity for health sector stewardship. Development Objective

To prevent, detect, and respond to the threat posed by COVID-19, increase access to an essential package of health and nutrition services for the target population, develop health sector stewardship and preparedness capacity, and provide an immediate and effective response to an eligible crisis or emergency.
