Abstract*

Gaza’s healthcare system is struggling to respond to a large number of vulnerable populations with MHPSS needs due to chronic shortages of qualified healthcare workers. The Gaza Rapid Needs Damage Assessment shows that the May 2021 conflict has resulted in an enormous need for MHPSS services to address psychosocial trauma. Yet, disrupted by the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and further weakened by extensive damage to key healthcare facilities and providers...
