Abstract*
The proposed BRT-based mass transit system in the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area(GKMA) is aimed to: (i) address urban mobility, connectivity, and accessibility challenges; (ii) decarbonize the urban transport sector to reduce GHG emissions and mitigate/adapt to climate impacts; (iii) ensure an inclusive, equitable and sustainable mobility to all; and (iv) support initiatives and pilots for the digitalization of the sector.
