The project will address the social and economic dimensions of gender inequality. The project will take a two-pronged approach focusing on (1) promoting economic opportunities for women, and (2) strengthening the prevention of and response to GBV. The project will address gender equality at multiple levels, but with a strong focus on the community-level setting it apart from projects that primarily focus on the individual, household or firm level.
