Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan announces a competition for selection for the position:
Consultant on environmental issues
The objective of this assignment is to ensure the coordination and implementation of environmental risk management and to take appropriate measures in accordance with the Environmental and Social Standards of the World Bank and the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Qualification requirements
- Higher education in environmental sciences, civil engineering or environmental management or a similar discipline;
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience in environmental risks management in compliance with the national environmental regulations;
- Experience in ensuring occupational health and safety regulations during civil works is preferred;
- Good practical knowledge of national environmental legislation and procedures;
- Knowledge and experience of implementation of environmental policies of international financial organizations (IFIs) will be an important advantage;
- Computer skills (MS office, MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, Internet E-mail, etc.);
- Fluency in written and spoken Tajik and Russian, fluency in English is an advantage.

- A copy of the diploma and other documents confirming the necessary qualifications;
- A copy of the certificate and recommendations, if any
