1. The Government of Balochistan has received financing from the World Bank toward Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project (BHCIP) (P166380) to improve utilization of quality health and education services in Balochistan particularly in refugee concentrated areas and to generate significant social and economic returns in the long term through a more educated and healthy population and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of below mentioned package for health facilities.

2.      The Project Director, BHCIP (Health Component) now invites sealed Bids from eligible . Bidders for Goods as detailed below.

3.         Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers -” July 2016 (Revised November 2017 & August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.         Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Project Director- BHCIP, Health Department, GoB and inspect the bidding document during office hours 1000 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

5.            The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of PKR. 2,000/-The method of payment will be cash. The document will be collected by hand.

6.         Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2nd January, 2023 1130 Hours. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 2nd January, 2023 1200 Hours.

7.         All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of 1700,000 PKR pay order as mentioned in the bidding document, in favor of Secretary Health Department GoB.
