- The Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the Procurement of Amphibious Excavator (Swamp Buggy) No: YBS/ACRESAL/G/NCB/02
- The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

- Bidding will be conducted through the NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: The World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement Regulations) (July 2016, revised in November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020) and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s Policy on conflict of Interest.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project, State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU), Plot No.31 and 32 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Adjacent to Essence International School, GRA, Damaturu, Yobe State, at the address below and inspect the Bidding Documents from 10:00am to 4:00pm Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays.
- Qualifications requirements include:
- Evidence of previous supply (sale) of similar Equipment proposed in the last five (5) years.
- Audited Financial Statements for the last three (3) years to demonstrate the financial capability of the Bidder in terms of Profitability and adequate working capital.
- Have a minimum of Two (2) similar supplies of at least
N400 Million satisfactorily or substantially completed as prime supplier between January 1, 2018 and the submission deadline. The qualifying contracts must be in supply of heavy earthmoving equipment or related to the assignment. - Minimum average annual turnover in supply of at least
N1 Billion in the last three (3) years. - After Sales services facility center in Nigeria.
A margin of preference for eligible national contractors shall not apply. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of N25, 000.00 (Twenty-five Thousand Naira) only. The method of payment will be through Bank Draft or Bank transfer into the Project Account (Guaranty Trust Bank Plc., Account Name: ACRESAL Account, Account Number: 1374679182 (NGN) upon the submission of a written application and evidence of payment to the address below. The document will be picked at the address below or sent by email or Courier upon request.
- Bids must be delivered to Yobe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project, State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU) Plot No.31 and 32 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Adjacent to Essence International School, GRA, Damaturu, Yobe State, Nigeria, on or before 12:00 noon on 29th June, 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened at 12:00 noon on 29th June, 2023 in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person, at Conference Hall, Yobe State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project, State Project Coordinating Unit (SPCU) Plot No.31 and 32 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Adjacent to Essence International School, GRA, Damaturu, Yobe State.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Five Million Naira (5,000,000:00)
