Contract Title: Procurement for Construction of  Winydiew  Secondary School Expansion & Rehabilitation  in Makuey  Woreda  Nyine-Nyang Town 01 Kebele , Gambella Regional State

The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the Procurement for Construction of Winydiew Secondary School Expansion & Rehabilitation in Makuey Woreda Nyine-Nyang Town 01 Kebele, Gambella Regional State.

The Gambella People’s National Regional State, Office of the President and Cabinet Affairs, Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project Phase II(LLRP-II) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having General Construction (GC) Licenses of Grade 3 and above or Building Construction (BC) Licenses of Grade 3 and above.

Description of Works and Locations

Procurement for Construction of  Winydiew  Secondary School Expansion & Rehabilitation  in Makuey  Woreda  Nyine-Nyang Town 01 Kebele , Gambella Regional State.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulation. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
  2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Gambella People’s National Regional State, Office of the President and Cabinet Affairs, Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP), Regional Project Coordination Unit, Bayich Pal with the email: bayichpjiop@gmail.com  and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm at the address given below.
  3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 200.00. The method of payment will be through the bank. The document will be sent by hand delivery procedures.
  4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before December 30th, 2024, 10:00 am. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on December 30th, 2024, 10:30 am.
  5. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of ETB 500,000.00 in the form of CPO or Unconditional Banks guarantee.
