The Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) has applied for financing from the International Development Association of the World Bank and intends to use part of the proceeds of the credit to accelerate country-wide digital transformation and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include development of a Project Implementation Manual (PIM). This will involve gathering, organizing and compiling all necessary data, information and materials in the PIM. The PIM shall provide clear, comprehensive and practical guidance to the Project Implementation Unit of the DZAP. The PIM will provide greater understanding of the processes, working relationship and required coordination between relevant stakeholders. It will also establish internal control procedures so that the PIU can be fully accountable to the SZI.

The SZI now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services by submitting Expressions of Interest (EOI). Interested Consultants should submit EOI complete with information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the required Services (historical information and support documents such as brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and general qualifications.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 revised September 2023 “Procurement Regulations”, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest
